You can select a triangular or wedge shape on your image, while viewing the resulting kaleidoscope image "live" on-screen. ![]() It will either generate animated kaleidoscopes by randomly sliding and rotating a sample through the image, or allow you to create a static kaleidoscope by defining the source section of your image. The program will take any image file (JPEG, TIFF, GIF, or PNG) as input, and let you select different kaleidoscope patterns to apply to the image. I am looking for input from other kaleidoscope enthusiasts that would make the program more useful. Right now it generates 8-way kaleidoscopes like this one: It will take any image file as input, and generate either static kaleidoscope images or moving animations on-screen. I'm currently working on a kaleidoscope generating program. As well as being a serious amateur photographer and fractal artist, I am a software developer. ![]()
